Job Summary

The Allies Healthy Families Program Manager is responsible for establishing the home visiting program in partnership with the Chief Program Officer (CPO). The Healthy Families Program Manager will participate in trainings to support implementation of evidence based and evidence informed practices for parents with young children, with an emphasis on supporting parents (age 18- 25) who have former involvement with DCFS. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to program staff. Ensures agency and client compliance with agency and program policies and procedures and assists in the general day-to-day functioning of the office, data entry, fiscal management, evaluation data tracking, providing support for the home visiting program and general operations as needed.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and management of the home visiting program, and involved in planning, budgeting, staffing, training, quality assurance, and evaluation.
  • Responsible for ongoing collaboration with community, county and state partners, public relations, and maintaining positive working relationships with early childhood partners and providers.
  • Provides clinical supervision to program staff.
  • Keep files organized and up to date in accordance with contract requirements and COA Accreditation guidelines
  • Advises regarding data entry and tracking
  • Apply program guidelines and follow established procedures
  • Maintains appropriate confidentiality, COA and HIPPA compliance
  • Evening and weekend hours required
  • Staff must believe in and act in accordance with both the Agency’s and the program’s mission
  • In accordance with our “team” philosophy, the person filling this position may occasionally be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed in this job description.
  • Master’s degree in public health or human services administration or fields related to working with children and families,
  • A solid understanding of and experience in managing diverse staff
  • Administrative experience in human services or related field, including experience in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement
  • Willingness to engage in building reflective practice (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing value of supervision, etc.)
  • Infant mental health endorsement preferred
  • Prior experience working with transition-age parenting youth
  • Good interpersonal skills and a desire to help others
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through
  • Comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Passionate about learning and possesses curiosity about issues affecting children and families

  • Fingerprint background clearance (DOJ, FBI & Child Abuse Clearance Index), or approved exemption
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and PPD test/ risk assessment, proof of Covid-19 vaccination and immunizations for pertussis (Tdap), measles (MMR) and influenza (can decline)
  • Class “C” driver’s license, proof of insurance, a safety record acceptable to CAA, and reliable transportation required

Annual Pay Range: $75,000 – $90,000 (In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.)
