After more than 32 years serving children and families in Los Angeles, Westside Children’s Center has rebranded as Allies for Every Child. This rebrand comes after nearly a year of research and feedback from agency stakeholders. During the last three decades, our services have expanded far beyond the west side of L.A., necessitating a new brand that reflects our reach and is inclusive of everyone working together to ensure that our city’s most vulnerable children have access to the childhoods they deserve.

Our staff and stakeholders gravitated toward the concept of allies for the mutual benefit that it conveys. Everyone succeeds in communities that are equitable and just – a notion that drives our staff and defines our work each day. What happens to children during their first years of life has outsize influence on who they will become, how they form relationships, and ultimately, if they will get to determine their own path in life. This is why we stand together with children and families regardless of circumstance to ensure that children thrive.

“We are so proud of our legacy as Westside Children’s Center, and incredibly grateful to everyone who poured their lives into this agency to ensure that every child in Los Angeles has the childhood they need and deserve,” said Heather Carrigan, CEO. “We’re excited to have a new brand that is inclusive of our work county-wide, and welcoming to our ever-growing community of allies.”

We specialize in cultivating the conditions necessary for children to succeed, offering a host of trauma-informed services including foster care and adoptions, early childhood education, infant early childhood mental health, mental health trainings and capacity building, disability screenings and services, in-home case management services, and more. Our state-of-the-art Early Education Center is open 6 days a week, providing high-quality early care and education, multidisciplinary clinical supports, and weekly events – serving as a social hub for families in our community.
